Episode 8 - Pain, suffering and awakening with Laura Poole and Dylan Smith.
Our founder, Laura Poole opens up about her journey with physical pain and suffering, and how meditation helped her to understand that she did not have to be bound by her bodily experiences, and that maybe there was actually a deeper purpose to it all along.
Introduction to the episode.
This episode is a little more of a personal one that was recorded back in 2018 with our dear friend and Ayurveda practitioner Dylan Smith from Vital Veda. Dylan wanted to chat to Laura about pain, suffering, healing and consciousness, knowing that her journey over the years has been full of all of these things.
As an Ayurveda practitioner Dylan sees many patients with chronic illness, so called ‘incurable’ conditions, pains in the body and mind, and they are ask him for guidance, for knowledge, for solutions. And in this episode, we wanted to explore the multi-faceted realm of healing the body through the means of consciousness, and that it may not be what we were expecting and yet, what we were truly desiring.
