Episode 13 - Ayurveda postpartum doula care for nourishing newborn mothers with Dani and Sol from Soma Shakti
Introduction to the episode.
In this episode we are joined by our dear friends, Daniela Prema and Sole De Riccio from Soma Shakti Postpartum Care. This conversation is a beautiful continuum from two our previous episodes with Ayurveda practitioner, Dylan Smith from Vital Veda. In Episode 5 of the Mahasoma Podcast we explored Ayurveda for menstruation, pre-conception and conscious conception, then in Episode 6 we dived into Ayurveda for pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. In this episode, we focus on the postpartum aspect of pregnancy and how to apply the wisdom of Ayurveda to create greater health, nourishment and vitality.
Daniela Prema is a mother devoted to her service of nourishing the Divine Feminine. She is an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, Traditional Birthkeeper, Partera and Herbalist specialising in Women’s Health and Maternal Care. She has also trained in traditional birth tending and ancestral Andean, Mayan, and Amazonian cosmovision. Dani founded Soma-Shakti School of Women's Ancient Wisdom.
Sole Del Riccio is an Ayurvedic therapist and Sattva yoga teacher, who’s focus is on women´s health, pregnancy, and postpartum care. She teaches ancient practices which have been passed down from the Himalayan Tantric Tradition, with the desire to help women unfold their infinite potential.
